2morrows friday

Today was kind of boring. No soccer matches today either, they start tommorrow,YAY!!! I went to school today for something and the principal gave me invitations to give everyone. She is inviting us(girls) to her house.I'll give them to you tommorrow Inshallah. Yay, im sooo excited. I'll see many of you tommorrow:). I also talked to pinky and spankey over the phone(wel, as usual,lol). Then i just browsed blogs and websites, cecked my e-mail, and chatted with friends. Tomorrow i want to go to the masjid and at the same time i don't. the reason i want to go is because most of you guys will be there, the reason i don't want to go is because of TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT on something... Oh well, i wont really mind atleast ill get to see u guys. im leaving in like 10 days... :(. you guys HAVE to stay in touch, Inshallah.

Today there werent any soccer matches on.They will start from Friday. I talked to pinky and her friend over the phone. Then i cleaned up my room and all. After that preciouss called and told me to sign on and was asking for someone's phone number.So i signed on and browsed sites. Later on, i went pinky's uncle's restaurant. Then i went to someone's house and they threw my a surprise party! It was so cool. They also had a cake for me(as you can see below). Awww i feel so special,lol jk. Like 1/2 an hour ago, i was returning spankey's call.

Hmmm....today was a another ordinary day. I woke up and watched the Fifa World Cup.Brazil and France won today.While Brazil advanced to a quarter-final against France in Frankfurt on Saturday, the talking point of this Round of 16 tie was the opening goal by Ronaldo with which the Brazil marksman wrote his name in the record books, because his fifth-minute strike was his 15th in the FIFA World Cup, which toojk him past Germany's Gerd Muller as the most prolific scorer in the 76-year history of the tournament!!! cool,huh? The quarter-finals start on June 30th.These are the teams that are going to play against eachother in the quarter-finals: GER:ARG,ITA:UKR, ENG:POR, BRA:FRA. Then it'll be the semi-finals, then 3rd place, then the FINAL MATCh. Oooooh, i soooo can't wait,lol.The final match is on July 9th! Then i ate lunch and talked to spankey and pinky over the phone. After that i went and browsed blogs and some website and chatted with friends. I got seriously fooled by one of my friends,lol. She still doesn't know that i know. Hmm..ill just have to see what she'll do when i see her on friday... I also talked to this girl that i have known for a long time, but havent talked to her for a long time, well kind of. She is kind of annoying you know,lol(Astakhfurrallah,lol). Today pinky called and told me her friend is going to come in 10 minutes. Tell her i said hi,pinky.:-). well thats pretty much it,bye.

just a day, just an ordinary day

Hmmmm....today wasn't that so exciting. I watched the Fifa World Cup, as usual. Then i browsed blogs, played on the internet, and chatted with friends. I talked to spankey, blueroan, and pinky over the phone. One of pinky's friend is coming back to live in LA.Cool,huh?She is really happy and excited.Hope you have fun pinky. I am just really busy packing up stuff. Till now i have packed up most of my clothes, books,accessories, and some other things. i hate packing up,lol.well i have to go,bye

fun days

Yesterday Pinky and I went to Spankey's house. It was soooooooo much fun. We prank called people, played outside, went to the park, and talked. Spankey was wearing bright orange as you must have read in Pinky's blog,lol. There was this beetle/cockroach type of bug on pinky's scarf and evryone started screaming. It was scary and funny at the same time, you know what i mean.Today i went to pinky's aunts house. It was fun there too. We talked to spankey over the phone there. Then we browsed blogs and some interesting websites.Pinky and I kept on arguing over things, as usual then laughing. She kept sayin that little kids are annoying,psssshhhhtt like she's not annoying,lol jk(she knows im joking).

p.s:today england won over ecuador(1:0). England didn't really play well, i mean they could have done better.Beckham made the goal in the second-half free-kick which made him the first England player to score in three separate FIFA World Cup tournaments!And in the second match today Portugal won over Netherlands(1:0). There were soooo many conflicts within this match,lol. Round of 16 continues for 2 more days, then the quarter finals will began.YAY!!!

bike incident

Today one of the cars was with my mom and the second car was out of gas, so i had to bike all the way to the masjid(it was kind of fun, you know). Spankey kept on calling me to come or "when are you going to be here?". So i decided that i'll bike there and i'll see my friends over there.Ok when i got there no one really saw me in my bike except for pinky, spankey, alina, & noor, so that's ok. They were just laughing in a friendly manner, but then at end of prayer....When i was taking my bike to the school side, everyone started laughing and pointing(THAT WAS EMBARRASSING).Plus i almost bumped my bike with a car backing up.Anyways, after I parked my bike in the school side, Spankey, Pinky, and I were just talking and having fun.Later on today, we were invited to FM's house for dinner.Then we went to pray Maghrib at the masjid and i got a certificate from there for graduating,lol.

p.s:tommorow Round of 16 begins in the FIFA World Cup!!!

USA LOST,HAHA,lol

Today was a busy day. After I woke up i watched the FIFA World Cup..Ghana won and USA lost(2:1), so that's it for the U.S. They are done. Brazil won and Japan lost(4:1). Brazil is playing REALLY WELL!!!i wore yellow and green today, because of that,lol.The match between Croatia and Australia was a tie(2:2), and the results for the match Czech Republic vs. Italy was 0:2. we went to some places. I also talked to Pinky and Spankey for a little while. Yesterday I was on the phone with Pinky for like 35 minutes! Then i went to school/masjid to pick something up. I met the principal and some other people there. Later on today, i was invited to someone's graduation in South High so I went there. It was cool and very different from ours. There were 2 previous students from our school graduating there too. One of them recognized me but the other one didn't remember me at all for some reason.Well maybe because she was picked on alot in 4th grade by many students...lol. The one that recognized me almost tripped when getting his certificate.Now that's embarrasing,lol. Then i came home and packed up a few more thing from my room. I am most likey moving on July 10th:-(. I'll miss you all!!!

a trip 2 da park

Today, Pinky and I went to the Charles H. Wilson Park. It was soooo much fun. On our way there, Spankey and Alina called and we talked to them.They needed advice on something which was kind of funny.When we got there the first thing i noticed was there were so many DOGS(Ahhh)! We walked all around the park. We walked and talked.......sat and talked..... and just talked. We don't just talk about one thing, we just talk about like everything. It's like sooo cool how we understand each other pretty well My sister and Pinky's brother got chased by a duck, not a seagull like some 8th graders did,lol. Well this time Pinky didn't trip over a rock :-), lol.(im just playing with her, she knows that.)

1 fun day...

Today was sooooooo much fun. I went to Pinky's house from 12:00pm to like 8:00pm. Many of my friends where there were there. It was soooo much fun, did i say that before. Oops yeah i did,lol.Pinky's face had cake all over it,lol. That was sooo funny.After that i went to the masjid to pray Maghrib and i met Br. English teacher there.well i have to go to bed, bye

graduation

Yesterday was our Graduation.It was a whole lot of fun, but also sad at the same time, you know.Pinky was the moderator and she did a good job.Well i have only like 2 weeks left in California:(. I am serioulsy going to miss all of you!!!Later on that day, i went to someone's graduation party. overbearingteacher is planning a meet for all the 8th graders before i leave. I am really looking forward to it and meeting everyone once again before i leave.well i'll see most of you tommorrow, bye.

Wow, today was the last day of school. It was pretty sad, especially for me, because i've been coming there ever since and now it's hard to imagine that i won't go there next year.....I mean it's just one of those feelings that you can't really explain. We whined and complained about the school like everyday and now if you come to think of it you will actually miss it. I am moving to Texas and i'm going to miss all of my friends. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!Inshallah I will stay in touch with everyone and will continue writing my blogs Inshallah. Well atleast you'll get to read how Texas is.(I know pinky why texas...?lol)

fun day

Today we had fun day at our school. It really was fun.In br.mattress's class we did the diet coke and mentos project. It was sooo cool! We mostly played with water balloons and water guns later today. Some teachers were getting mad at us, as usual, for playing with water(pshhh). Then we played in the jumper. In br.overbearinteacher's class we had an open discussion and a meal. The open discussion really helped.I am really sleepy right now, see you all tommorrow Inshallah,

Today we got off at 12:00pm, because of the parent meetings. I also found out that i am the valedictorian. It was good news for me, but it has to be as long as 5-10minutes. How am i going to keep the audience interested for that long?!?! What if they are like when is she going to finish(checking their watch)?Anyways I went to Al-Anwar to buy a scarf, and then some other places.This post is kind of short, i know. I need to go work on my speech, bye.

Today wasn't what you would call cheerful, as you might have read in pinky's blog. The Green Eyed Monster stories that I told had a meaning that I tried to convey. Unfortunately no one grasped the point. If they did, well... they didn't really care. I mean it really is sad when you think someone is your friend and they backstab you, like pinky mentioned in her blog. Oh and one more thing, you can't just assume something without any proof or hearing what actually happened. Assuming something without any proof would cause too many misconceptions as some of you might know...

an easy day

Today was a pretty easy day. We held the student council elections,. Congradulations to all the winners! When we were dropping Pinky at her house there was a big black dog running around with his owner playing fetch.It was sooo scary. When we got home, I just browsed the other's blogs, checked my e-mail, and talked to some people. Later on today, I watched the re-run of the soccer match, USA vs. Czech Republic. USA lost big time, 0:3.I won't be able to see all the matches because of the timings. Some are late at night and some are while I am at school,so yeah. well i have to go to bed, good night.

Catalina Island

Yesterday we went to Catalina Island. Many people thought it was boring, but I actually thought it was fun.Well yeah, we did not go in Catalina Express or some other cruiser, but the one we went on wasn't bad at all. We spent a Saturday together just playing and joking around which was soooo much fun.I kept on going on the top deck, then the bottom deck, then to the front of the ship, the side of the ship, and th again up and down. I just didn't sit on one spot,lol. When I came home, I was sooo tired. I took a bath and went right to sleep after maghrib. I slept from like 8:15pm-10:30am!

Some funny and embarrasing things that happened:

• I kept on dropping someones bike and trying to make it stand again but it kept on falling, and the person was watching me struggle and then came and took it. Then when I went to my dad to ask him something and the person was laughing at me.
• I woke up the wrong lady on the ship, because I thought she worked there. She was sooo frustrated
• I thought I lost my belt, but it was right behind me.
• Pinky slipped, i mean fell over a rock,lol (People she knows i'm just teasing her, please don't make a big deal).
• I got the bottom of my new pants dirty with the sand.
• Pinky was lying on the seat and the boat rocked, and she almost slipped out through the railing.

• I accidentally walked into the wine fest thinking it was a place full of souvenier boothes.Then, Pinky and 8kas screamed and told that i had walken into a wine fest.I missed a HUGE sign that said that,lol.

So overall the trip was fun, you have to admit.

Tomorrow is Saturday and we are going to Catalina Island. Im soooo excitedAlina and I were taking pictures of clothes that we might wear and then sending them eachother. Then i called Pinky. She had already picked out her clothes.We are all going to meet at school at 4:15am.We have to be there at like 5:00AM which means i will have to wake up like at 3:00am and im still not asleep yet.AHH, I'm going to slepp now, good night everyone!

Today we took the Language and Spelling section of the Sat10. We only have Science which is scheduled for tommorow and listening which we will do on Monday.Then, no more tests,YAY!!! We played an interesting game in grammar class today. Our Catalina Island trip is on Saturady and i am like sooo excited. We have to wake up about 3:ooam, because we have to be at San Pedro at 5:15am!I am still deciding what to wear on the trip..i am not sure whether it is going to be hot there or chilly(since it's early in the morning)?!?! OH NO, I JUST REALIZED I HAVE NOT PICKED OUT MY CLOTHES FOR TOMMOROW, SO I HAVE TO GO AND DO SO NOW,BYE.

6/6/06 (the bad luck day,lol jk ASTAGHFURALLAH)

Today after school I went to the doctor and then a store. Later on today we had to go to someone's house. They have three little kids. As soon as we got there, they put on Telletubbies(i think that's how you spell it..i don't know). That is one of the most boring shows ever!!! They showed the lala,poe,tinkywinky, and dipsy dancing, and the tv thing in their stomach turns on, and the sun is a bay face...Ok, now that is sooo wierd. They also put that show on with high volume! I was so annoyed by that show. After the show finished, the little girl brought me her Dora book to read to her. FIRST TELLETUBBIES THEN DORA THE EXPLORER........CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?!

this book is great

Today we had our Social Science Sat10. It was ok. We did not have any classes except grammar class in which we worked on the newsletter. We did not get any homework either, so i finished reading The Outsiders. I could not resist to know what happens. I SWEAR THIS IS THE GREATEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ!!!It is sooo cool. This book actually makes you....like.... i don't know how to explain it...but like you can feel all the emotion the characters go through especially ponyboy's( I personally felt ponyboy's emotions for some reason while reading the book)... The book is pretty sad and emotional near the ending of the story.I mean it's very realistic(i mean I really don't know how to explain it,but yeah). I literally had a few tears in my eyes at that time. For all of those who still haven't read it I prefer you read it as soon as you can. Wow, seriously WOW, I just loved it even more than I like Harry Potter Series.

the boring b-day

Today i Sunday and from tommorrow,Monday, our Sat10 begins. I went to Swapmeet(the roadium), the Masjid and to someone's birthday party. The birthday was soooo BORING!!! I didn't know anyone there, except for this girl, but her and me don't get along very well......So all i did was callback spankey and play with my phone. Then i recorded people talking out of boredom(but i deleted the recordings obviously,lol). They had stupid songs on which were very annoying. I was sooo glad to get back home. I ate mangos and read The Outsiders. It's a very good book so far. I have to go so bye.

a busy sunday

Today was a busy day. I did not go to the Parent Day thingy, because we had to go to the dentist. It took a looonngg time waiting over there because so many people were there.After we got home, I cleaned up my room and did some work. Then we went to Pinky's house. It was soo much fun. We talked, talked, and talked(trust me thats what girls love to do, admit or not,lol).I saw her rabbits. They are so cute, and they have grown a little. I have to go and read something now, bye.

Today was a pretty good day. I stayed for Juma Prayers and Pinky and I had to babysit this John kid(thx 4 volunteering,pinky,jk lol).When we got home I hate Pizza and drank soda.Then my sister and I played with the kitten.she's like sooo playful!We put her in the car to take her to her new home without a cage or box, but that didn't work out. So we had to put her in a big box. When we got there pinky was there too(well duh itwas her grandparent's house,lol). Pinky's cousin was soo happy to see the kitten. While my sister and her cousin played with the kitten, Pinky and I watched them, petted the kitten , and just talked an talked. In the car my sister was happy that the kitten,Shadow, got a good home.Tommorow is some "Parent Day " thingy. I don't think I will be going, because i have a dentist appointment. I am really tired and sleepy right now, so bye.

2006 Scrpps National Spelling Bee

Today I watched the 2006 Scripps National Spelling Bee. It started at 8:00pm and ended Like 15 minutes ago at about 10:15pm on channel 7. The winners were: Katharine Close from New Jersy in 1st place, Finola Hackett from Canada in 2nd place, and Saryn Hooks from North Carolina in 3rd place. Katherine Close's winning word was URSPRACHE. I really wanted Finola to win(don't ask me why, well i think its because she was getting harder words so i felt she deserved 1st place,but oh well). All 3 of these spellers did well(well, duh that's why they won,lol).They were all GIRLS, which shows GIRLS ARE SMARTER THAN BOYS,lol(said in a jokingly manner).
