Where did time go?

Assalamu Alaikum Wa RahmatAllahi Wa Barakatuhu!
Wow. It's been way over a year now since I last blogged. Infact, it's been over 4 years since we started this.
Wow.
The time went by super super fast. SubhanAllah.
I was going through peoples', including mine, old post's and laughing at them; the spelling errors, the things we thought were cool, the indirect kiddish drama, the immaturity.
&& I was smiling upon remembering all the countless memories, the laughter, the craziness, the good ol' days.
Well, if anyone stumbles upon this post....How are you doing? What are your futue plans? How's everything?

Actually, I'm not sure when anyone will see this so I'll email everyone, inshaAllah.

I wrote this weeks ago, but forgot to publish it. I accidentally saved it to draftslol

Wowwww, I feel bad for not have written on my blog since February!

Ahhh anywayss, how are you all doing?

Just 4 days ago, Hurricane IKE hit Houston. It was really frightening.  Maybe because I was use to earthquakes not these?

My schools been out for a week, and many people still don't have electricty or tap water.

Much of Galveston still remains under water which had surge waves of upto 22 feet. The city is at a curfew every night. Everyone in Houston has been affected by this; one way or another.

Alhumdulilah we are all ok though, and no damage was to done to our house.

Yeah so those are just the few pictures, I have tons more!
When the eye of the hurricane was right on us, the winds were extremely strong and I was thinking that our window was going to shatter any second or the house will break. But Alhumdulilah, nothing happened at all. In a way, it was good IKE hit during Ramadan. Even with all the hardships, muslims all around here held strong to their iman. No one stopped fasting. No one stopped their prayers. One of the masjids roof broke down, but they still had Salat outside daily. This really helped me realize how it must be for the many people in poverty who don't have electricity or food. We tend to take things granted, and don't realize how every little thing is a blessing from Allah SWT.

Wow, I have not blogged since December!
Anyways, life in Texas is getting better now, Alhumdulilah.
I read Catcher in the Rye last week. ((Br.Sultan, I remembered you told me to read it in my sophomore year when Br. overbearinteacher suggested it!!!))

It was pretty good.
I'm also going to start reading the Twilight series. I heard its the new " Harry Potter" sort of book. Haha.

Well I'm going to go get back to my work. I have A LOT! I just remembered blogger, and stopped by to write a little bit.=]

SALAM!
My school started last week. I have been so busy with work!!! SO MUCHH WORKKK AHHH!
haha. Alhumdulillah, but it's all good. Long weekend passed so quickly. On Friday I just stayed at home and biked around...Saturday night to Sunday morning there was Qiyam Al Layl at MAS, and then on Monday we went to someone's house. I just finished my homework, so I decided to come and BLOG!lol

Haha, anyways, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows was...just so...oh myyy goodness....sooo awesommeeeeee!!!I loveedddd it!If you have not read it yet, i suggest you do so now,GO READ NOW, I SAID NOW. Ok...fine, you can read it when you feel like it no pressure, but just read it=].hehe.For those of you who might have read it, what did you think about it?(be sure not to put spoilers just incase a person wanting to read the book reads it, you know)


I still have about a month of summer vacation left, yayyyy!Haha. It's pretty hot here. I went to a city named San Antonio. It was reallyyyy prettyyy there. The streets and buildings were like those they show on TV, the old style streets, buildings, and horse carriages. It was soo much fun!
